FOI Solutions continues to be active in pro bono work

FOI Solutions committed to a series of freedom of information and privacy training sessions for the Federation of Community Legal Centres throughout Victoria during 2011. 

Between April and June 2011 we conducted training sessions at each of the rural community legal centres throughout Victoria and in the Melbourne metropolitan area. The aim of the sessions was to upskill those dealing with clients at community legal centres so that they were more aware of potential privacy issues where clients deal with government, and to assist in drafting valid and targetted requests for access under freedom of information legislation.

It is expected that further pro bono work training will be conducted in future.
